What is Vision?
The mandate of this ministry is Apostolic in nature. Therefore, the thrust of this ministry is to first strengthen and train ministers and pastors.
Secondly, to establish churches as the Lord would direct.
Thirdly, to mature believers for the work of the ministry and perfecting of the saints.
Habakkuk 2:2-3
"Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come... "
Vision
A dream: an image of what is possible, an image for the future.
Where there is no vision (the Hebrew word is hazon- a word from God), the people perish (become disheartened, have no direction, and without focus).
The Vision is the single focus, driving force, and discipline directing the progression of the local church. It is the gift of faith to see in the invisible, to know the unknowable, to think the unthinkable, to believe the impossible, and to experience what has never been experienced before. Vision gives sight to God's Kingdom dominion people. Though we see through a glass darkly, but when face-to-face, we see clearly the mind and the plan of God. We speak those things that are not as though they were. It is the known outline for the church's future. It focuses the efforts and priorities of the body. Vision unifies the local church, and energizes it. (Isaiah 46:10).
